When I use the refine or extremely refine mesh options in Comsol multiphysics software for 3D simulation it uses an overwhelmingly large number of degrees of freedom, for example, 17 million degree of freedoms, that for a solution of the problem for each of freedom degree the Comsol evaluate (for example, in RF model) all of the electric and magnetic-field components, and another parameter that I don't need. How can I control refinement in Comsol for the components that I need?
