How can I improve the photonic band gap of photonic crystal in comsol or plot dispersion relation diagram in comsol for 2&3 dimensional ?

this question is not a particularly good format for scicomp, as it is very specific/localized and it is requesting information for a particular commercial software. You might want to try asking this question in a forum dedicated to COMSOL support. – Aron Ahmadia Jun 17 '12 at 10:15
In addition to Aron's comments, I also think the question is vague and underspecified. I also think you'd get better responses in a COMSOL forum, and I think providing more specific information will be helpful to people who want answer your question. – Geoff Oxberry♦ Jun 17 '12 at 14:23
I disagree with Aron's comment -- couldn't the same be said of all the PETSc questions? Unless the site explicitly discriminates against commercial software, which I'm not aware of at present. I agree that more details are needed to make the question useful. – David Ketcheson Jun 17 '12 at 19:40
@DavidKetcheson - agreed, I don't have any issues with COMSOL except that we don't seem to have any experts hanging out at scicomp at present. If somebody could answer these questions it would be great. – Aron Ahmadia Jun 18 '12 at 10:33
