Computational Science Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for scientists using computers to solve scientific problems. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have been searching the net for a few days as to what all courses i must have done to make sense of the field of Computational Mathematics. I came up with these: 1.) Discrete Mathematics and Data Structures 2.) Programming Languages. 3.) Differential Equations.

I was looking for a better list with more areas of math and an instance to explain what makes that area useful in computational math. Anyone ?
