I am a PhD student in Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics at ICES. I specialize in parallel linear algebra; most recently I have been working on solving high-frequency 3d Helmholtz equations, which led to this recently submitted paper, and the corresponding prototype implementation. In the process I wrote a custom distributed sparse-direct solver, Clique, which is built on top of my distributed dense linear algebra library, Elemental.
