I'm working on a gravitational n-body simulator and would like to implement dark energy into it but all I can find is papers with relativistic equations which I don't really understand. Is there a simple way of implementing the effects of dark energy into my simulation? It doesn't have to be strictly correct but it should qualitatively correct.

  • $\begingroup$ Can you provide inks to the papers that you're referring to? As far as I understand, dark energy manifests as a non-zero value of the cosmological constant in Einstein's field equations. I don't know if there's a good way to mimic that effect in a particle simulation. $\endgroup$ – Daniel Shapero May 13 at 0:00
