I enjoy spending my free time catching up with the latest technologies like AR/VR and blockchain. People are super amazing and somehow always find new ways to integrate tech we never knew we'd need. As a scholar of science and computer geek, I find myself reading Ars Technica and Wired a lot since their amazing writers cover everything from recent discoveries in astrophysics to OpSec. I have to say that I am very well-versed since I find many subjects interesting to read and discuss about.
I also enjoy bouldering, playing video games (PC/PS4), judging terrible product designs, calling out on scammers, swing trading at a loss, zen, beer, and lurking on reddit.
Some of my favorite people: Dieter Rams, Richard D. Wolff, Nick Bostrom, and Richard Feynman. Elon Musk too if he tweets "funding secured" again.
Something to brag about: - I've walked 330km from Tokyo to Sendai over a span of 12 days and slept in a tent throughout the trip. - Hitchhiked around southern part of Iceland. - Bicycled around Lake Biwa (area: 260mi²) near Kyoto. - Built a 8-GPU dual Nvidia/AMD miner, averaging 3400h/s, drawing just 550w. - Ran one of the largest DotA community with bots in high school.
