Jan 14, 2023 at 7:06 comment added Lutz Lehmann This is wrong. It should be -a^n*expm1(n*log1p((b-a)/a)). In the example this gives 7.526705395707148e+24, which is close to the exact result in the limitations of floating-point numbers.
